Founded in 1993, Desert Valley Orchid Society promotes the growing of orchids here in the hot desert climate of Phoenix, Arizona. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and our members include beginners just starting out with a plant on their windowsill to those with full size greenhouses and 30+ years of growing experience. We organize community outreach programs, perform orchid rescues, and teach orchid culture classes at the Desert Botanical Garden. We even have an orchid book club! Whatever your level of orchid interest, whether a novice or experienced grower, we invite you to come to a meeting, learn from our knowledgeable speakers, make new orchid friends, and enter our raffle for a chance to take home a new plant to add to your collection!
